Support Youth with HIV/AIDS
Due to COVID-19, the majority of our programs in Latin America have been required to close. Our program in Sumpango, Guatemala, however, remains open to protect and care for our young people with HIV/AIDS at a time when being immuno-compromised is especially dangerous. Through our program, the children living there, aged 2 to 13, continue to receive the daily medications needed to keep them healthy despite being born with HIV.
In normal circumstances, this program receives in-kind support from local organizations and individuals to cover some of the needs of the children. Due to the pandemic, these local donations have stopped, and the program requires urgent support from A Chance In Life to continue the children's medical and nutritional care without interruption.
You can provide one child with a month of nutritious meals and medical care for $75.
