Empower girls in Ethiopia
In Central Ethiopia, most families cannot afford to send all their children to school. This, paired with a lack of nearby education facilities, makes it difficult for girls in rural areas to complete their education across all levels. According to the United Nations, almost 50% of girls enrolled in primary school do not make it to Grade 5.
We have partnered with local organizations to provide housing near schools, as well as financial assistance and supplies so young women may attend university. The girls are empowered through counseling and leadership workshops to supplement their education.
Help keep a girl in school with a donation of $100.
