BOYS' AND GIRLS' TOWNS OF INDIA
EXPANSION TO INDIA
In October 2016, A Chance In Life inaugurated Boys’ and Girls’ Towns of India – a program that provides a chance in life to more than 1,500 extremely poor girls and boys living in the tribal areas of southern India and the northern state of Gujarat. The people of these tribal communities live well below the poverty line. The children of these villages may not have basic necessities such as clean water, enough food or access to education. Often, they are brought to institutions for a better life and the chance to go to school. |
