For November, Gabriele is handing over his monthly note to . . . our young people! They had a lot to say on the occasion of our 75th Anniversary Gala two weeks ago, and we wanted to let them share their stories with all of you. "Ciao a tutti. My name is Michael, and I am from Rome. I have been here at La Repubblica dei Ragazzi for two years. I made some mistakes in my life and now, thanks be to God, I am doing well thanks to the opportunity you gave me." "Selam! My name is Nimeni. Before I became a part of this program, I was facing a lot of problems, like a lack of materials for my education. I didn't attend school regularly because I had to help my family. Now, I have the chance to attend school every day." "Hi! I am Priva. I've been staying here since 2009, because I lost my parents. Now I'm studying to be an English teacher, and after I complete that I will do an MA in literature. Whatever I do today, it is all because Ashraya [our program partner] and many good-hearted sponsors like you." "Hola, greetings from Bolivia. My name is Alfredo. I've been coming to the Center [our partner program] since I was invited by an educator. Before I started attending the Center, I used to work with my family picking up bottles and cans to recycle. From my first day at the Center, I received a lot of support with my school work, with my education and in my personal development. Congratulations on your 75th Anniversary." We hope you enjoyed this month's international missive! If you want to meet even more of our extraordinary youth, you can find their stories here. Thank you for being a part of our A Chance In Life community and changing the lives of young people like Michael, Nemini, Priva and Alfredo!
