Gabriele Named to Ozy Media’s Top 100

Dear Friends,

I am taking over the writing of January’s note from our President and Executive Gabriele Delmonaco to share an exciting announcement! I am thrilled to announce that Gabriele was named to the OZY Media 100. We’re so proud of his achievement and grateful for the awareness this brings to the issues facing at-risk youth, especially in the midst of the pandemic. This is a testament to not only the hard work of A Chance In Life leadership, but the tireless efforts of our program partners around the world and the many generous donors who make our work possible.

OZY’s list recognizes 100 of the most compelling thought leaders of 2020, and Gabriele was one of ten people selected in the Education category. OZY also featured Gabriele earlier this year, in an article that shared the news of our new initiative on Staten Island and highlighted our work with financial literacy for young people.

We are honored to be included among leaders such as MacKenzie Scott, who grabbed headlines this year for giving away more than $4 billion in four months to underfunded working-class colleges, and Steven Wolfe Pereira, CEO of an award-winning education technology company.
