A Thousand Thank Yous
Last week, The New York Times released their “pictures of the year” – the photographs and scenes they felt best encapsulated 2020. A Chance In Life is releasing a few of our own photos of the year today to showcase all that you, our incredible community of supporters, made possible for our young people during a time of uncertainty and hardship.
Thanks to your support and the tireless work of our program partners, we were able to:
- Provide emergency food supplies to over 10,000 children and family members across Bolivia, Colombia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, India, Mexico, Peru and Uganda.
- Keep the communities we serve safe with medical information, face masks and cleaning supplies.
- Educate marginalized children around the world, both remotely and in person.
We cannot thank you enough for helping the almost 4,000 youth we serve weather the tumultuous storm of this year. As we look to 2021 and the years ahead, it is my honor and delight to announce that we are launching A Chance In Life’s first youth center, “The Village”, in the United States to meet the rising needs of impoverished young people in our own community of New York City. You can read our full Executive Summary for more information on this exciting new project here!
Through moments of crisis and groundbreaking initiatives alike, we are so grateful to have you as partners in our mission to build a better world for vulnerable children. Thank you for all you do!
